About Us

Becky Prado

My name is Becky Prado and I am a fellow seeker who stands amazed at the
faithfulness of God – the one true God, of whom there IS no equal, the God of
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my
sins and yours, so that we might live with Him and serve Him, basking in His glory
forever! I stand amazed because you are reading a book I never dreamed I
would write. I might have expected to sing the songs (as I do), but Jesus had
additional plans in mind.

so, where did it all start?

This begins my story that has now led me to you. I climbed up on a piano bench
when I was three years old to find the notes I heard my mother’s beginning
students playing at their lesson and I’ve played ever since. I don’t remember a
time when music wasn’t a major part of my life. I began composing music in my
early teens and singing is like breathing, though not always as easy! My songs
became my prayers in those early years of my relationship to God. They have
been my testimonies, my warfare, and my praise to this God whom I adore! They
have also been my cry for comfort when I was emotionally destroyed.

They are my release and joy and above all, they are the gift GOD has given me,
for which I am eternally grateful, to be shared with you.

It is my hope you will find blessing and encouragement within these pages and in
these songs. It is my prayer that your heart will seek after Him all the days of
your life.
